Holiday light installation · Season 2026

Your roofline lit by Thanksgiving, and you never touch a ladder.

We design it, supply the lights, install them, fix anything that goes out, then take it all down in January and store it until next year.

Install calendar

Installs run November 1 to December 10. Last year the calendar was full by November 12, so book in October if you want a date before Thanksgiving.

How the season works

Four visits. You're home for none of them.

  1. Design

Tell us the address and what you'd like lit. We plan where the lights go and send back a written price, usually the same day.

  2. Install

Between November 1 and December 10. Lights are clipped to gutters and shingles, never stapled or nailed, and plugged into a timer.

  3. Service calls

If a strand goes out, call us. We fix it within 48 hours, free, all season.

  4. Takedown

In the first two weeks of January. Everything is labeled by house and stored over summer, so next year's install is quicker.

What goes up

Commercial-grade lights, not big-box strands.

Rooflines get C9 LED bulbs on commercial wire, cut to the exact length of each run, so there are no bunched-up extra feet hanging off a corner. Warm white (2700K) is the default, and it's what most people around here choose. Multicolor is the same price.

Shrubs and railings get mini-lights. Trees are wrapped trunk-and-branch or canopy-draped, depending on the tree.

Outlets first. We check every outdoor outlet is GFCI-protected before anything is plugged in. If one trips or isn't protected, we'll tell you and it's a job for an electrician, not us.

Questions

Holiday lighting questions

Do I own the lights?

No. The price includes the lights for the season, the install, service calls and takedown. That's how most installers work, and it's why there's nothing for you to store or untangle. If you'd rather buy them outright at the end of the season, ask and we'll quote it.

Can you use the lights I already have?

Usually not. Store-bought strands are a fixed length with plugs at the ends, which is why they never fit a roofline neatly. We'll happily hang a wreath or a garland you already own, though.

Will clips damage my gutters or shingles?

No. Gutter clips hook over the lip and shingle tabs slide under the bottom edge without lifting the seal. Nothing is screwed, stapled or glued.

What if it snows?

LED strands handle Ohio winters fine. We don't go on roofs in snow or ice, so service calls in bad weather wait for a clear day.
